Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home

Located in a prominent location along Hubbell Avenue in East Des Moines, Grandview Park is a beautiful, spacious funeral home featuring a large chapel and adjacent family room, ample visitation space, a large reception center and children's play area. Like our other locations, Grandview Park has an updated sound system and ability to play video tributes just about anywhere in the funeral home. Grandview Park is a convenient neighborhood funeral home serving East Des Moines as well as the suburbs of Pleasant Hill and Altoona plus Bondurant and Berwick communities. Grandview Park is easily accessible from I-235 using either the Guthrie or Euclid exits.

Grandview Funeral Home was built in 1970 at 3211 Hubbell Avenue by Gregory Gulick, alumnus of Dunn’s Funeral Home.  Mr. Gullick sold the business a number of years later to a corporation.  In 1988, Charles W. Iles purchased the funeral home; renaming it Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home and making the funeral home once again family owned and operated.

Our Grandview Park Chapel is a collection site for worn out flags as part of our Retired Flag Cremation Program. Worn flags received at the funeral home are retired in a flag ceremony then placed with a veteran for cremation.

Flags are received 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday at Grandview Park Chapel.
