Karl and his staff are the most wonderful considerate people in the world. You can just tell how caring they are. Of course I know them from a small town, but that doesn’t change how wonderful they are.
Many of our staff members are involved in organizations geared toward helping people and the community we live in. These include a variety of Masonic Lodges, The Des Moines Consistory, Za Ga Zig Shrine, and Royal Order of Jesters.

Iles Community Support Specialist, Jan Mathews, draws from her own experience and education in hospice care, ministry and grief support to meet the educational needs of care-givers in our community. She offers free literature, continuing education seminars, funeral home tours and GriefPerspective newsletters as well as many other educational tools. We have a large and diverse staff that are involved with many churches, synagogues and religious groups. We support these institutions in a variety of ways. In addition to individual churches, we also support larger organizations that help the community at large. These include Knights of Columbus, Serra Club, Jewish Federation of Greater Des Moines, Iowa Jewish Senior Life Center, Dowling Catholic High School, and Bishop Drumm Care Center.
