Aaron Bailey Obituary

Aaron Crowley Bailey passed away Saturday, October 18 in Petaluma, California at the age of 42. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Saturday, November 22 at Iles Dunn’s Chapel. Condolences are welcome at www.IlesCares.com.

Aaron was born on December 13, 1982 in Kealakekua, Hawaii to Bill and Claire Bailey. He moved to Iowa as a child and graduated from Norwalk High School. In his younger years, Aaron had a deep passion for baseball and enjoyed traveling to play ball. As he grew older he continued his love of travel and spent the last few years of his life venturing to new places around the country. Aaron also had a life long love of the outdoors, specifically fishing. He rarely, if ever, passed up a chance to cast a line. He will be remembered for his kind heart and love of family.

Aaron is survived by his father, Bill Bailey; stepmother, Erin Bailey; sister, Jessica (Joe) Bailey Oetker; niece, Claire Oetker; nephew, Reece Oetker; and aunt Missy Brees DeYoung.

He will be deeply missed by those that loved him and will hold a special place in our hearts.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Claire Bailey; aunt, Ayn Crowley; and grandparents: Neomia Crowley, Orville Crowley, and Becky Crowley.
