Obituary

With profound sorrow and deep love, we remember Adreana Jean Moser, who passed away on May 10th, 2025, peacefully at her home in Dallas Center, Iowa, at the age of 85. She brought light, laughter, and a kindness to those around her. She had a joyful spirit, adventurous nature, and gentle heart who loved deeply. Though Adreana faced profound medical challenges, she met each day with quiet strength, unspoken courage, a true fighter.
Adreana was born on January 5th, 1940, in Walnut Township at Shuler coal mine (present day Waukee) to William and Anna Laura (MacFarland) Jenkins. She was the 5th child out of 11 brothers and sisters. The family moved in 1949, (at age 9) to Adel, Iowa. She loved sports and played basketball ball in school, was a life guard, an avid painter, interest in the arts, and gospel music. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors.

After graduating in 1958 she went on to attend Grace College in Indiana. She married Jerry Junior Roan in 1960. They had three children; Diana Lynn Roan February 2, 1960, Stephanie Melissa Roan February 14, 1965 and Timothy Brian Roan July 27, 1966. She went on to attend Des Moines Area Community College in 1978 earning a degree in Industrial Marketing that secured her position with Standard Bearings in sales for many years thru retirement.

She married Roger Moser in 1989. They traveled extensively to other countries in Europe and across the United States including Alaska and a honeymoon in Hawaii. She went on a trip to Australia with friends.
While our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in believing that Adreana’s beautiful spirit is now joined with God and those who passed before her. She has been gifted her wings and is now flying with the angels.
Adreana leaves behind a family who loved her dearly: her devoted children, Diana DeGlopper; Stephanie Roan, and Timothy Roan (Barbie Blair); her beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Dustin, Brandon, Bradley, Rachel, and Summer; her great grandchildren, Noah, Chase, Austin, Aliyah, Addison, Zachary, and Cash. She is also remembered by her siblings; Maren Goodson, Karen Carey, and Jerry Jenkins. Countless other loving relatives and friends were honored to know her.

She was welcomed into heaven by those whom passed before her; her parents, sister Beverly Hutchins, brother Jack Jenkins, sister Betty Anderson, brother’s William (Bill Mac) and Dennis Jenkins, twin sisters who passed as infants-Charlotte and Marie Jenkins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15th, 2025, from 4-7pm at Brandt Funeral Home, Dallas Center. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate Adreana’s life.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, May 16th, 2025, 10:30am at Grace Lutheran Church, 23932 Meadow Road, Adel, Iowa

Immediately following the service, you are invited to stay for a light luncheon at Grace Lutheran Church.

Following the luncheon, Adreana will be laid to rest at Dallas Center Cemetery in Dallas Center.
