Ann Reeve Obituary

Ann Kathleen Reeve passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025. A private family burial will take place at Glendale Cemetery.

Ann was born in Dubuque, Iowa to Herman (Pat) and Naida Reeve on October 10, 1952. She lived most of her life in Des Moines, Iowa, graduating from Roosevelt High School. Ann attended John Brown University and Trinity College where she received her teaching degree.

Music was a big part of Ann’s life. She began singing in choirs at school and then sang for years at First Federated Church. She also developed a puppet team ministry. Jesus was her source of strength and joy. Reading the Bible was very important to her. Ann loved her family and friends. She was always asking for more pictures, especially of her nephews and niece.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Naida Reeve, and her sister, Lynne Bakker.

She is survived by her sister, Carol Ginder; nephews, Samuel and Timothy Ginder; and niece, Sarah (Dylan) Balmer.
