Arlene Frantz Obituary

Arlene Frantz, 87, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away peacefully in her son's residence.

Arlene was born in Des Moines, Iowa, to Albert Frantz and Kathryn Eivins. Arlene was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known for her kindness, warmth, and love for her family.

Arlene had a deep passion for quilting and crocheting. She spent many hours creating beautiful, handmade quilts and crochet pieces.

She is survived by daughter, Dianne Noland; son, Bruce (Lydia) Sheets; grandchildren, Michael, Bob, Johanna, Andy, Brittney, Alyssa, Aaron, and Jesse; and great-grandchildren, 15 in total.

She was preceded in death by her son, Duane E. Sheets; grandchild, Alex Sheets; sister, Sherrie Lussem; and her parents, Albert Delmar Frantz and Katheryn Nelly Eivins.

Friends and family are invited to visit and celebrate Arlene's life at Iles Grandview Park Chapel, Des Moines, Iowa, October 13, 2025 at 11 am with a visitation prior starting at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Rising Sun Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Iowa.

Memorial contributions may be made to Boys Town.
