Belle Wolfe Obituary

Belle Mae Wolfe, born to Richard and Helen (Vlassis) Wolfe, November 10, 1958.

She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1977.

She loved country music and rock n’ roll. She loved having a good time. She enjoyed reading the Bible and putting together puzzles. She worked at the phone company (US West/Quest) for 23 years.

She is survived by her two children, Tom Porter, 41, of Norwalk, and her daughter Amy Porter, 39, of Des Moines. Together, Belle had eight grandchildren: Thomas, Micah, Danielle, Jason and James, Maverick, Gemma & Jackson.

Belle was in the middle of nine kids. She is survived by her brother, Lee Wolfe of Des Moines, Guy Wolfe of Des Moines, Leo Wolfe of Des Moines, James Wolfe of Des Moines; and a sister, Shirlee Wolfe of Norwalk.

Belle died of cancer at the age of 65 on Christmas Day of 2023.
