Obituary

Betty Joann Spratt, 64, passed away on May 29, 2025. A visitation will be held at the Iles Grandview Park Chapel on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, from 4:30 - 6:00 pm.

Betty was born on December 25, 1960 to John and Minette Scott. After spending several years in California, Betty moved to Iowa. Betty helped countless uninsured and underinsured patients get the medical attention they needed during her career of more than 35 years at Broadlawns.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her husband, Rod; daughter Elizabeth (Amy) Hogan; son John (Julia) Spratt; 6 grandchildren, with the 7th arriving in August; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters Kay and Susan; aunts Kay and Margo; and uncle Bob.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Refuge League of Iowa.
