Brandy Schaffer Obituary

Brandy Lynn Schaffer, 50, died Friday, May 16, 2025 at her home in Des Moines. A Graveside Service will be held later this spring at Berwick Cemetery.

Brandy was born May 3, 1975 in Des Moines to Terra (Simmons) Schaffer. She went to Jackson Elementary School, Goodrell Middle School and East High School. After graduation Brandy worked in restaurants in the Des Moines area. She enjoyed her pets, gardening, crocheting and creating diamond arts.

Survivors include her mother, Terra (Craig) Wetzel of Des Moines; brother, Jerry Schaffer of Pleasant Hill; children: Jasmine McClintic of South Carolina, Michael Whiting; three grandchildren: Dominic, Ava, and Cainan; many nieces, nephews, cousins and two uncles.
