Carol Waters Obituary

Carol D. (Wasson) Waters, 76, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 12:00PM.

Carol was born in Burlington, Iowa. She worked in many places like nursing homes and hospitals. She most recently worked at Git-N-Go. Carol loved fishing, playing bingo, crocheting and doing crossword puzzles. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and her dog, Sassy.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Alice Wasson. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Waters; daughter, Kathy Blume; son-in-law, Ricky Brooks, Sr.; two grandchildren, Nicolas and Christopher Brooks; her sister Jackie Sturms, and brothers Jody Dirth, Mike Wasson, and Chuck Wasson.

A visitation will be held at Iles Grandview Park Chapel, 3211 Hubbell Ave. Des Moines, IA 50317 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, December 6, 2024.
