Claude Dickey Obituary

Claude George Dickey, 82, of Ankeny passed away on January 18 at Scottish Rite Park. A private viewing was held at Iles Funeral Homes- Dunn's Chapel followed by interment at Glendale Masonic Cemetery on January 21.

Claude was born on June 20, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa to Byron and Faye Dickey of Nevada, Iowa. He graduated from TRHS in 1960 and received his associates degree from AIB in 1962. Claude began his career in accounting and then pursued a career in sales until his retirement in 2009.

A very important part of Claude’s life included his 50 year membership in Waveland Park Masonic Lodge number 654, A&A Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Valley of Des Moines and the Za-Ga-Zig Shriners.

Claude was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 60 years, Cynthia Parker Dickey of Ankeny.
