Daniel Francel Obituary

On Saturday May 24th, 2025, Daniel Joseph Francel passed away at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines, Iowa. He was 39 years old.

He is survived by his brother Joshua Francel, his children including Lilith L Francel, his wife Elizabeth Giesking, his beloved cat Thomas, and all the people who loved him and cared for him.

He fought a long battle with stomach cancer for several years; surviving through the pain. He was an adventurer and survivor with many chapters to his life. He had struggles, but also many friends. He loved cats, and cars - the faster the better. He was generous and open hearted and is greatly loved and missed by many people.
