David Ennen Obituary

Through tears of love and grief we share the news of the unexpected death of our beloved David "Scott" Ennen Jr. on August 3, 2023 at his home in West Des Moines, Iowa. He was 42 years old.

He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on February 13, 1981. Scott was a 1999 graduate of Valley High School and attended Iowa State University. He was a long time employee of the Funny Bone Comedy Club and more recently Texas Roadhouse Restaurant.

Scott is survived by his by his loving family; parents David and Linda Ennen; brother Eric (Brandie) Ennen; niece and nephew McKinley and William; and fiancée Heather Ennen. He will be met in heaven by his grandparents.

Scott will be remembered for his beautiful smile, quick wit, and ability to make us laugh. He was in his element at flea markets wheeling and dealing in antiques and oddities. He loved animals and his people.
Scott was fiercely loved by his family. Rest Easy, Son.

No funeral or memorial service is planned at this time.
