Obituary

Devin Joseph Emory Enos, 30, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa. Born on October 6, 1994, Devin brought light and laughter into the lives of those around him from the very beginning.

Devin earned his GED and went on to work a variety of general laborer jobs when able. No matter the task at hand, he approached it with dedication and a willingness to help others, qualities that defined him.

He was known as the life of the party, someone who could make friends with anyone and always made others feel included. Devin had a gift for humor and loved to joke around, bringing smiles wherever he went. His selflessness was unmatched; he would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation and consistently put others before himself.

Devin found joy in simple pleasures like fishing and camping with his grandpa Mike, and Uncle Tommy, immersing himself in video games and Legos in his younger years, sketching his thoughts onto paper through drawing and tattoos, listening to music that moved him, and spending time with friends. These moments reflected his creative spirit and deep need for personal connections with others.

He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Paisley Weatherly; his mother Karen Enos (Doug Wolfe); his father Travis (Tish) Pinegar; his bonus fathers Todd Waters, Daniel Gonzales; his sisters Hunter Gonzales, Taylor Musso (Jerry Goff), step-sister Corinne Wolfe, and brother Gage Pinegar; grandparents Sue (Chad) Kritzer, Jane Enos; uncles Michael (Krista) Enos Jr, Tommy (Lacey) Pinegar, Arthur Pinegar; aunt Heidi (John) Cornelison, Bonus aunts Carrie (Gabe) Vieth, Karrie Gonzales; as well as numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who were like family.

Devin was preceded in death by his grandfather’s Michael Enos Sr., Daniel Gonzales, Tom Pinegar, and grandmother Pam Johnson.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor Devin’s memory and the joy he brought into so many lives.

May Devin’s memory bring comfort to all who knew him and continue to inspire kindness and compassion in others.
