Dorothy Remster Obituary

Dorothy Helen Remster, 90, passed away on July 31, 2023 at Carlisle Care Center. A visitation will be held at the Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home from 10:00-11:00 AM on August 5, 2023. Interment will follow at Altoona Cemetery.

Dorothy Helen Martin was born on August 26, 1932 to Dennis and Helen Martin in Des Moines Iowa. Dorothy loved all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, especially making sugar cookies and pies with her grandchildren. She was an active member at Bethany Full Gospel Church where she spent many hours in the nursery.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Michael (Karma) Remster, Linda Remster, and Rita Stuart; siblings, Donald, Sandy, Sharon, Frank, and Kathy; grandchildren, Eric, Jeff, Benjamin, Jenny, Kendra, Kenny; and 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Gloria, Arthur, Norma, Bob.
