Florence Jeanette "June" Terrell, 91, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 28, at St. John's Lutheran Church, in Madrid. Graveside and committal services will take place at 2 p.m., on Saturday, at Mount Zion Cemetery, south of Lacona, IA.

June was born on August 4, 1915 in Nevada, Iowa to Richard and Florence Elizabeth Allen Boller. She was a 1933 graduate of Nevada High School and a 1938 graduate of the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing. June married Charles Ronald Terrell on November 19, 1938 in Missouri. They made their home in Newell and various other cities. Over the years, June was employed with various healthcare facilities as a registered nurse, retiring from the Madrid Home. She was also a loving and dedicated Preacher's wife.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her son, David Terrell and his wife Connie of Madrid; daughter, Susan Terrell and her husband Rich Hanson of Maxwell; one sister, Betty Lehman and her husband Ralph of Nevada, IA; six grandchildren, Heidi (Jami) Raymond, Jim Terrell, Karl (Pam) Coughenour, Justin (Rachel) Wonders, Dan (Stef) Wonders and Dustin Coughenour; and 12 great-grandchildren. June was preceded into eternal life by her son at infancy, Charles Terrell; husband, Rev. Charles Terrell on November 10, 1985; and eight brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 27, at Sundberg-Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Madrid. Memorial contributions may be made to the Madrid Home.
