Franklin Griffey Obituary

Franklin "Frank" Paul Griffey passed away at Mercy Hospital 3/26/2025, at the age of 58. It was unexpected.

He was born on September 4, 1967 in Des Moines, IA. Frank graduated from Norwalk High School, class of 85.

Frank loved all things outside...fishing, camping, and nature. He was also known for being funny and having a laid back personality.

He is survived by his partner of 14 years Brittny Pinegar; a son Justin Griffey (Darcy); grandchildren Hunter Rosewall & Kolton Griffey; siblings Candy (Wayne) Parker, Debbie (Bob) Elgin, Brad Griffey, Jerry Griffey; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Marvel and Tommy Griffey.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Walnut Woods at a later date.
