A mass will be offered in Gerald’s memory on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 5:15 p.m. at St. Pius X, 3663 66th St, Urbandale, Iowa.

Jerry was born on September 23, 1948 to Harry and Beulah (Gulick) Pinneke in Charles City, Iowa. He graduated from Fort Dodge High School and went on to serve his country in the United States Air Force. Jerry married Annie Anderson, and they had one daughter, Stacey. Jerry attended Iowa State University where he became a lifelong fan of the Cyclones. In 1979, Jerry married Diane Muhlbauer, and the couple adopted their daughter, Laura.

Jerry spent a majority of his professional career with Siemens/Westinghouse as an Engineer and Project Manager, traveling to the UK, Brazil, Japan, and all over the United States.

He was most recently a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, and previously enjoyed serving as a catechist for middle school students at Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart. He loved playing tennis and golf, going fishing and hunting, watching the Iowa State Cyclones football and basketball games, and spending time with his family and friends. While he had many interests, his favorite was spending time with his beloved schnauzers, Luna and Jada.

Jerry is survived by his daughters, Stacey (Brian) Sebesta; Laura (Ryan) McIntosh; grandchildren, McKinzey and Connor McCabe, Hannah and Elena McIntosh; brother, Terry (Charlotte) Pinneke; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and a stillborn son, Eric Pinneke.

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Pius X Catholic Church.
