Obituary

"It is a privilege to know him" --- Greg's neighbor commented to me last summer.

Greg grew from this cute kid with the huge grin to an incredible, courageous young man, still smiling, still joking, a bit mischievous. Even though he had numerous surgeries, along with numerous recoveries, a lot of sticks and a lot of pain, he remained upbeat and still mischievous, and still had a wonderful smile. He was an inspiration to all who knew him.

Radiation caught up with him, and he lost a lot of his ability to talk, walk, and hear. Still he remained very independent - snowmobiling, boating, gardening, driving, living on his own. His siblings, Jerry (LeLoie), Bill (Ginger), and Beth (Jeff) Welch, were wonderful to him and with him. Now he has gone to heaven where he can hear everyone --- and he will be happy. We love you, Greg. Mom (Helen) and Dad (Al).
