Obituary

Guinevere E. Miller, 82, passed from this life on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, in Des Moines. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 1, at St. Pius X Catholic Parish Center in Urbandale, of which she was a member. Burial will follow at Glendale Cemetery, in Des Moines.

Guinevere was born the daughter of Alfred Frederick and Mabel Harris Graham on August 18, 1925 in Redwing, MN, and in 1927, they moved to Des Moines, where Guinevere later graduated from North High School. She married Robert Miller in 1947 and he preceded her in death on November 30, 2003. Guinevere enjoyed reading, participating in family activities and spending time with her loving grandchildren.

She is survived by her five children, Paul Miller of Burnsville, MN, Peggy (Steve) Steinbronn of Urbandale, Gary (Audrey) Miller of Surprise, AZ, Nancy Miller of Urbandale and Tim (Marisa) Miller of Chicago, IL; one brother, Clinton Graham of Des Moines; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and three nieces and two nephews. In addition to her husband, Robert; Guinevere was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 31, at Iles Funeral Homes – Westover Chapel in Des Moines, where a Parish Scripture Service will begin at 7 p.m.
