Helena Maxine Rosenberg, 96, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Deerfield Retirement Community, Urbandale. Graveside services were held at the Jewish Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, IA.

Helena was born on January 23, 1918 in Grand Island, NE, the daughter of Mae and Max Feinberg. Helena was an avid collector of antiques, collectibles and kewpie dolls; she was a creative business - woman and entrepreneur. Sequentially, the business grew into a nation wide business, which included retail, wholesale, distribution, importing, antique restoration and the manufacturing of Kewpie Dolls.

Helena had passion and devotion for the customers, which she considered friendships and it was not until she was 93 did she retire due to health reasons. Helena was a woman of integrity, strength and wisdom and had a very kind and loving heart. She was an amazing cook and liked to play the violin. She encouraged everyone to be their best and live life to its fullest. She will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved her.
