Obituary

Buddy Howe, 69, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 23, 2008.

Buddy was born in Waukee on April 9, 1939. He loved fishing and camping. Buddy was well known for his painting and drywall skills. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. Buddy was an active member of the Four Legged Stool Club.

Buddy is survived by his children, Tracy (Alta) Howe of Dallas Center and Tausha (Jason) Shiffer of Grimes; grandchildren, Melissa, Chelsea, Kelton, Cassidy and Keagen; two great grandchildren, Sky and Zoe; his brothers, Bobby (Marilyn) Howe of Urbandale, Jimmy Howe of West Des Moines, Randy Howe of Dallas Center and Dennis (Wendy)Howe of Tempe, AZ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Alyce Howe, Brother, Kerry Howe and his sister Darlene McMullin.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am Monday, April 28, 2008 at Iles Funeral Homes-Brandt Chapel in Dallas Center where a Memorial Service will be held at 11 am. Memorials may be made to the family to be directed later.
