Jakob Mash Obituary

Jakob Marion Allen Mash, 20, of Perry, IA, died on December 22, 2020 in rural Adel, IA.

Jakob was born, July 28, 2000, in Des Moines, IA, the son of Jason and Trisha (McDaniel) Mash. He received his education at the Woodward Academy and Panora Schools where he graduated in 2019. He continued his education at DMACC where he completed the Welding Program. Jakob worked in lawn care, Landis Cooperative and just started a new job with Karl’s Chevrolet in Stuart as an Automotive Technician.

Jakob loved the outdoors where you could find him fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, and riding his dirt bike. He enjoyed being with his family, playing X Box with his cousin Nicholas, but his pride and joy were being with his niece and nephew.

Survivors include his mother Trisha (Luke Martin), father Jason (Ruth Gordon), sisters Abigail and Shelbie Mash, stepsisters, Madison Martin, Margo and Mia Martin, Willow and Tegan Kern, stepbrother, Dean Gordon, niece Charlotte Mash, nephew Hudson Gorake, grandparents, Diana Bennett, Roger Pierce, Ron and Janet Mash and Marian Mash and a great grandfather Gary Bensley.
