James Nible Obituary

James Dean Nible "Jimmy" was a talented musician whose earliest influence was his father, Robert Nible. He could pick up any instrument and play it beautifully. He was extraordinary on the bass. His band was named Tangent and they had quite a following in Central Iowa. Had he not been such an amazing provider for his family, he very likely would have been a renowned musician just like his dad.

Jim loved to cook. His kitchen was SPOTLESS and his food was always delicious.

Jim enjoyed jamming out with his friends and potlucks at the shop with his family and friends. Later on in life, he enjoyed spending quality time with his sister Jeane at the cabin and on the holidays. He loved having longggggg conversations about nothing and everything all at once with his loved ones. He never ended a conversation without telling us I Love You. He also loved spending time with his grandkids.

Jim was a die-hard Vikings fan, and you could always expect to hear him yelling at the TV and wearing his beloved purple and gold whenever they would play.

Jimmy was a good man, he loved life and loved his family and he will be missed by many.

Those left to remember him fondly here on earth are siblings Sandi (Allen) Bergman and Jeane Nible. Children Niki (Nathan) Whitney, and Geddy Nible. Grandchildren Peyton, Ethan, Alivia, Jakub, Bailey, Ivory, and Archer; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Virginia Nible, his brother Wes, and his brother-in-law Jerry.
