Jeffrey Poush Obituary

Jeffrey Gene Poush, 55, of Cumming, Iowa, passed away Friday, January 10, 2025, as a result of an accident. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Iles Norwalk Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 3:00pm. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Jeffrey was born September 2, 1969, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Gene Poush and Patricia (Oberhelman) Kirts. He grew up in South Des Moines and Cumming, where he enjoyed the outdoors, dirt biking with his son, Cazsh, fishing and had a deep love for music.

Jeffrey worked as a Carpenter for the local Carpenter Union 106 from which he recently retired.

Jeffrey is survived by his father, Gene Poush; mother, Patricia Kirts; son, Cazshmeir Poush; sister, Brenda and brother-in-law, Marty Henning; brothers, Scott Poush (wife Teresa) and Brad Poush (wife Ashley); step-brothers, Kelly Kirts (wife Dawn) and Kasey Kirts (wife Jessica); a large number of nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces that he dearly loved. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his step-father George Kirts.

Memorials may be made to The Ronald McDonald House Charities - Central Iowa.
