Julieanne Zeller Obituary

Julieanne Marie Zeller, 80, of Norwalk, Iowa, died October 7, 2024 of Alzheimer’s at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center. She was born November 18, 1943 in Lemon, South Dakota. Julie was the oldest of five children (Richard, Madonna, Kenneth, and Veronica) and took on extra responsibilities to care for her siblings at a young age. She met the love of her life at 17 years old at a roller skating rink in Missoula, Montana. After getting married to him on July 7, 1964, they were blessed with two children.

Julie worked in the food service for the Missoula School district, and customer service at Memory Lane Antiques. Julie loved children, nature, reading, embroidering, gardening, walking, traveling, and mostly spending quality time with family.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Zeller of Norwalk, Iowa; son, Glen Zeller of Cumming, Iowa; daughter, Michelle Alnasser of Corvallis, Oregon; sons-in-law Shawn Zeller and Ghassan Alnasser; granddaughters, Denna and Senna Alnasser of Corvallis, Oregon; and grandson, Haddy Alnasser of Corvallis, Oregon.

A graveside service for Julie will be held at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, Iowa, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
