June Anderson Obituary

June (Drake) Anderson was born in rural Madrid to William and Elsie (Stevens) Drake. She passed away on July 7, at the Granger Nursing Home, Granger, Iowa. June graduated from Sheldahl School. In 1937she married Darwin Anderson. They lived in the Madrid area most of their married life.

June was an avid doll collector of Kewpie’s, Barbie’s and various others. June was preceded in death by her spouse, parents and 8 siblings. She is survived by her sons Leroy, Keith, Robert, David, 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren. Also 2 sisters, Donna (Drake) Nall of Slater and Joyce (Drake) Tingley, from Michigan and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Sundberg-Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Madrid on August 6th. Memorial contributions can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
