Kathryn Stageman Obituary

Katie Stageman, age 38, of Norwalk, Iowa, passed away on November 5, 2024. She was born on December 13, 1985 to Rick and Kim Stageman. Katie was deeply devoted to her family, friends, and her career in the nursing field.

Katie was a beloved mother to her two sons, Cale and Carver Tarnaski, who were her greatest pride and joy. She cherished every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her sons, Cale and Carver Tarnaski; her parents, Rick and Kim Stageman; her brothers, Brandon (Paula) and Jon Stageman; her nephew, Drake, and nieces, Anslee, Emerson, and Elise. Katie was also dearly loved by her fiancé, Justin Vorster, who stood by her side with unwavering support and love.

Katie’s life was defined by her kindness, generosity, sense of humor and commitment to helping others. Her compassionate nature and love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life.

A visitation to celebrate her life will be held on Tuesday, November 26 from 5-8 pm at Iles Norwalk Chapel, 1020 Main Street, Norwalk, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her sons’ names at City State Bank, Norwalk, Iowa.
