Kathy Lilly Obituary

Kathy Rae Lilly, 71, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 18, 2023. She was born November 24, 1951, in Des Moines to Ira and Pauline Hartley.

Kathy loved cooking, music, reading, her cats and spending time with her family. She loved to decorate for all holiday, getting her nails done and going all out on her fashion.

Kathy is survived by her partner, John Coglizer; sons, Jason Schrier & family, Ryan Schrier & family, Brandon (Sarah) Hafenbrack and Tyler (April) Hafenbrack; step-son, Chip Lilly; grandchildren, Tyler Hafenbrack Jr., Hailey Hafenbrack, Hunter Hafenbrack, Jeremy Stevens, Benjamin Hafenbrack, Christopher Hafenbrack; her 4 great grandchildren, her caretaker & friend, Kassie Stevenson; sister, Jill Daggett; and her loving cats, Fred, Oscar, Spaz and Ginger. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest Lilly; grandson, Brandon Hafenbrack Jr.

Celebration of life visitation will be held 5 PM - 7 PM Friday, November 24, 2023, at 1015 Day Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50314.
