Lora "Brenda" Brandon, 101, passed away March 8, 2008 in Pasadena, FL. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Resthaven Mausoleum.

Lora was born February 17, 1907 in Arispe, Iowa the daughter of John T. Dutcher and Elizabeth Beardsley. She moved to Florida in 1972. She was a member of First Christian Church in South Pasadena and of First Christian Church in Des Moines. Lora was a secretary and gifted musician. She was a gold card lifetime member of Local #10 Chicago Musician's Union and was a popular lounge and night club entertainer and traveled extensively during WWII entertaining at the USO's throughout the U.S.

Lora was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Cmdr. E. S. "Brandy" Brandon, U.S.N. Air corps. She is survived by one sister, Opal Fish of Sun City, AZ; two brothers, John Dutcher of Carlisle, IA and William "Bill" Dutcher of Saint Petersburg, FL; nieces and nephews, Linda and Mark Turner of Saint Petersburg, FL; Lora and Steve Lacy of Birmingham, AL, Mary Martin of Omaha, NE, Joanne Rowland of Morage, CA, Patricia Cunningham of Phoenix, AZ; and George Fish of Sun City, AZ; as well as several great and some great great nieces and nephews.
