Marlene Papian Obituary

Marlene Papian passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024.

Marlene was born in Northwest Iowa and came to Des Moines for cosmetology school and employment. She married Lanny Papian. She enjoyed art, cooking, entertaining, and getting together with family and friends.

She is survived by daughter, Angela (Tim) Sullivan; son, Jamie (Marci) Papian; five grandchildren, Alyssa Sullivan, Sydney Sullivan, Ryan Skinner, Kyle (Michelle) Skinner, Kennedy Papian; one great-granddaughter, Aspen Sullivan; sister-in-laws, Janet Papian and Mary Ann Papian; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lanny Papian; her brother, Mert Kielmann; her brother-in-laws, Mike Papian and Don Papian.

There will be no visitation or service.
