Mary Pilkington Obituary

Mary Lou Pilkington, 91, of Humeston, Iowa was born to Joe and Cora Russell in Princeton, Missouri. She went to heaven on October 9, 2024 in Des Moines, Iowa.

When Mary Lou wasn’t waitressing or housekeeping, you could find her out dancing and hosting dinner parties. She enjoyed fishing, her dogs Wheezy and Heidi, going to church, and family reunions.

Mary Lou leaves behind her brother Harry (Marie) Russell, children Wanita Breuklander, Julie (Terry) Langford, Benjamin (Sherrill) Ress Jr., Alan (Judy) Ress, 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bob Pilkington, 4 sisters, and 5 brothers.

Her memorial service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, October 25 at Iles Norwalk Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery in Iowa Falls at 2 p.m.
