There will be a celebration of life in Maquoketa, IA at Sacred Heart School on Saturday, June 25, at 11am for his friends and family there.

Nolan was born on October 24, 2003 in Des Moines, IA to Jerod Anderson (Jackie) and Nicole Meek (Kelly).

Nolan was a recent graduate of Madrid High School where he was active in football, basketball, track, and baseball. He enjoyed playing online video games with his friends, spending time with his girlfriend, and going to B Dubs. Nolan was active in Boy Scouts for 8 years where he attained the rank of Life Scout. One of Nolan’s funnest moments came this year where he fouled out of a basketball game in around 5 minutes. The student section was chanting his name and he just had a big grin on his face.

He is survived by his parents; brothers, Quentin Anderson, Mason Anderson, Isaac Soumas; sister, Athena Soumas; grandparents, Kenny and LuAnn Wagner of Maquoketa, Jean Anderson of Maquoketa, Mike and Cheryl Stubbers of Deltona, FL; Aunts and Uncles, Michelle (Josh), Austin, Anna (Michael), Jennifer (Mike), Dale (Melissa), Alex (Mallory), Sarah (Kurt); a niece Freya; cousins, Tyler, Nolan, Trent, Grace, TJ, Lydia, Hannah, And Ethan.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa LeRoy Anderson, grandma Darlene Meek, uncle Marshall Dunne and Aunt Ann Schulte.

In lieu of flowers you can make memorial donations. These donations will be used for future scholarships to Madrid High School students in Nolan’s honor.
