Richard Ori Obituary

Richard G. Ori, 85, of Clive, Iowa, peacefully passed away on October 30, 2023, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Born to Ernest and Casimira Ori. Richard is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty of Colorado, his daughter Lisa (Garrett) Schultz of Colorado, his grandchildren Sam and Ellie Schultz of Colorado, and his sister Olga Smoot of Michigan. Richard also had numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Richard was the youngest of 11 children, born to Italian immigrants. Creativity came easily to Richard. Which you could see in the designs of his 6 homes in 3 states. He contributed to the design of the Waukee Library Coal Mining Museum. He loved photography. A love he passed on to his wife and daughter.

Services for Richard will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at the Waukee Cemetery, followed by a Celebration Of Life at the Waukee Library, in Waukee, Iowa. Memorial contributions can be made in Richard's name to alz.org.
