Ryan Williams Obituary

Ryan Michael Jonathan Williams, 25, of Altoona, Iowa passed away on May 13th, 2025 at his home in Langhorne, Pennsylvania where he had recently moved for a new job.

Ryan was born on December 2nd, 1999 in Des Moines, Iowa to Michael and Melissa Williams. He graduated from Norwalk High School in 2018 and later at DMACC in 2020 with an associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology and went on to become a Commissioning Manager in the Mission Critical Construction industry building data centers. He was currently working for Barton Malow in Pennsylvania but had previously worked for Weitz Construction in Des Moines. Ryan was so passionate about the work he did. Ryan’s hobbies included collecting Coca-Cola items, Gaming with friends, Pokémon, Marvel Universe movies, traveling, and attending concerts of bands that he enjoyed like AJR, Needtobreathe and Imagine Dragons.

Ryan is survived by his parents Mike (Karla) Williams and Melissa Williams; siblings, Emma Williams, Jake Williams, Gage Williams-Garbes, Hailey (Austin) Coles and Hannah Fenner; and grandfather, John Foley. He also has many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a nephew who are left to remember him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Joann Foley and his paternal grandparents John Williams and Sharon Bragg.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 beginning at 4:00 pm with a visitation 2 hours prior from 2:00-4:00 pm at Iles Westover Chapel- 6337 Hickman Road, Des Moines, Iowa 50322
