Sharon "Sheri" Harris Obituary

Sharon Sue Harris, 82, passed away on October 16, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa. A celebration of Sheri’s life will take place at a later date.

Sheri was born December 22, 1942, in Des Moines to Malvin and Marjorie (Wilson) Williams. She attended Roosevelt High School. Sheri spent her career working with computers and key punch, retiring in 2010. In her free time, Sheri enjoyed the peaceful things in life, traveling, coloring, flower gardening, making beautiful flower arrangements, and taking photos. She had a creative eye and a quiet way of bringing beauty into the world. Sheri loved animals, especially her beloved cats.

Sheri is survived by her children, Tim Harris and Lauri (Randy) Mazigian; grandchildren: Jacob and Jessica Rasmussen; and her great grandchildren: Calvin, Claire, and Colin.

She was preceded by her parents; husband Craig Harris; and a sister, Carol Bauer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sheri’s name may be directed to Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
