Shelia Clement Obituary

Shelia Clement, resident of New Virginia, IA, formerly from Norwalk, IA, passed away on July 7th in her home surrounded by her family at the age of 65. Shelia was born August 18th, 1958 to parents Henry and June Berry. She was raised in Norwalk with her sister and four brothers. Shelia graduated from Norwalk High School and went on to open a daycare in her home where she became a mother, friend, and haven to many. Shelia married Douglas Clement on January 14th, 1978. They had two children Jeremy and Tiffany. After having her daycare for many years Shelia went on to work as a receptionist at Unity Point Clinic in Des Moines where Doug was the head of maintenance. After retiring, she dedicated all her time to family and friends. Shelia was a kind and loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and aunt. If you visited her home, you would not leave without a full belly and a snack for the road. Shelia had a heart of gold and open arms for all. Sitting around her table eating candy, playing cards, and enjoying her company were some of her favorite hobbies. Guests would always leave her home with a full heart, tummy, and something sweet. She will truly be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Shelia was preceded in death by her parents Henry and June Berry, and her sister Karolyn Pagel (Mike). She is survived by her husband Douglas Clement, children Jeremy Clement, and Tiffany Onstot (Brian). Her brothers Jeffrey Berry (Janet),  Danial Berry (Alicia),  Timathy Berry (Mona), and Jason Berry (Bernie). Her grandchildren Kevin Onstot (Haliegh), Kennith Onstot (Priscila), Rebeka Onstot, Tristan Onstot, and Madison Grove (Zachary). Great grandchildren Brenna Onstot, Birdie Hope, Kingston and Kylian Johnson, and Riley Grove. 

Shelia will be having a celebration of life at 6272 R57 Hwy Indianola, IA on Sunday, August 18th from 10:00am - 12:00pm. Those of you that knew and loved Shelia are welcome to join us and celebrate her life.
