Obituary

Steven G. McLeod (1946-2025)
Steve got his wings to heaven on November 27, 2025. He spent his last days at the Taylor hospice house with family and friends who loved him.

Steve accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior on September 27, 2025. He retired from the Bulk Mail Center in 2009 after 35 years. He met his wife, JoAn at the Bulk Mail Center, for the US Postal Service, and they were married in 2000 in Nevada. He had great times and memories of the friends at the Bulk Mail Center.

Steve loved traveling and planning vacations with his wife and family. He bowled on leagues for years and made some good friends. He loved all sports, but the Packers were his team.

After retirement, JoAn and Steve volunteered at Life Serve Blood Center, Meals on Wheels and delivered holiday meals for Hope Ministries.

Steve is survived by his wife, JoAn; children, Tracey McLeod and Steve (Jana) McLeod; step daughter, RaeLee (Roberto) Valencia; his grandchildren, Patrick Chubb, Cassie (Colin) Muir, Mackenzee (Nile) Johnston, David Harpin, Jonas McLeod, Isaac McLeod, Autumn McLeod, Tharin McLeod, Seth McLeod, Simone Harpin, Vicente Murillo and Sofia Valencia and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Rose McLeod; siblings, Robert McLeod, Betty Nolte and Thomas McLeod.

Steve requested no services and cremation rites have been accorded. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Taylor Hospice House for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association. Online condolences are welcome at www.IlesCares.com.
