Susan Frick Obituary

Susan Gayle Frick was born at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi on September 11, 1961 to Howard and Carole (Webb) Frick. As her father, Howard was in the Armed Forces, she lived in California, Germany and Georgia. When her father retired the family moved to Newton, Iowa.

Susan graduated from Newton High School in 1979. She then went on to Methodist Nursing School to start her nursing career.

Susan was very proud of being a registered nurse and worked in several places throughout Iowa. Highlights included being a life flight nurse at University of Iowa and working with Veterans at both the Iowa City VA and the Des Moines VA medical centers. She was highly respected as a registered nurse.

Preceding her in death were her father, Howard and her much loved pets. Those left behind to grieve her loss are her husband, Jeff Robinson, her mother, Carole Frick; her sister, Pam Harrison; her brother, Fred Frick; her BFF Vicki Milledge as well as her nieces, nephews and their families. Her corgi, Fergus is left to help Jeff in her absence.

Susan passed away on January 1, 2024 and a Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. She was a friend to any animal and memorial contributions, in memory of Susan, may be directed to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
