Arlyn and Alice Hesse resided in Urbandale until moving to Brio Senior Living Community in Johnston, Iowa in October, 2018.

Following retirement Arlyn volunteered at Iowa Methodist Medical Center for many years greeting and assisting visitors and transporting patients. Arlyn will be remembered as a compassionate, patient, witty and fun-loving man who showed unconditional love for his family and friends. His wife of 64 years, Alice, was the center of his world.
