Obituary

Brady Scott Tuttle, 46, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 21, 2020. A livestream of the Funeral Service will be available on his obituary page at www.IlesCares.com beginning at 10:15 am Wednesday, November 25, 2020. Brady was born February 8, 1974, in Corydon, IA, to David and Karen (Bethards) Tuttle.

Brady worked as an Equipment Manager for CRH for over twenty years.

He was a member of the Junior Iowa Meat Goat Association and 4H. He loved his animals, especially his goats. Brady was a John Deere man and loved tractors and farming. He really enjoyed trucking and semi-trucks (especially the Peterbilt Long Nose), from the time he was a baby he’s been riding and driving them. Brady never knew a stranger and loved to talk. Once he met someone, he was their friend for life. He truly enjoyed smoking and BBQing and making homemade ice cream for family gatherings. His family and his boys were his life and he would do anything for anybody.

Brady is survived by his sons, Ross D Tuttle, Bradyn E Tuttle; mother, Karen K. Tuttle of Des Moines, IA; his friend, Anne Van Kirk of Prairie City, IA; sisters, Kendra K Tuttle of Des Moines, IA, Micaela D Tuttle of Des Moines, IA; grandmother, Elouise Bethards of Grimes, IA; nephews, Benjamin Tuttle, Maxxwell Tuttle; children in his life, Owen Van Kirk, Miley Van Kirk, Maddox Van Kirk, Morgan McDowell; mother of his children, Tammy Franklin of Monroe, IA; as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and too many friends to count. He was preceded in death by his father, David M Tuttle; grandparents, Leslie and Patsy Tuttle and Harry Bethards.

The family will receive friends in a drive-up visitation from 4 - 7 pm Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines. Contributions may be made to the family.
