Obituary

Nanette Marie Hardy’Caswell, 65, was born on Sept. 8, 1955, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Raymond and Theresa (Farney) Hardy.

Nanette graduated from Saydel High School. She married Rick Roby in 1973 in Cherry Point, North Carolina. They divorced in 1975. Nanette went onto earn her degree in phlebotomy and was an in-home hospice nurse. In 1983, Nanette married Kurt Delpierre. They later divorced.

Nanette is survived by: daughter Shawna (Oscar Johnson) of Des Moines; sons, Jaysen Delpierre (Jennifer) of Avon, Illinois and Josiah Delpierre (Courtney) of Des Moines; mother, Theresa Perry of Ames, Iowa; father, Raymond Hardy (Joan) of Winterset, Iowa; brother, Rick Hardy (Carol) of Norwalk, Iowa; sisters, Dianna Wallace (Rodney) of Pleasantville, Iowa, Kellie Detrick (Charles) of Radcliffe, Iowa; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son Scott Roby.
