Obituary

Rosanne Marie Dickson, 66, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 11, 2021 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. Her family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

Rosanne was born July 12, 1955, in Des Moines, Iowa, to William and Louise (Craig) Wright. She graduated from Des Moines Technical High School in 1973. Rosanne married Randy Dickson on August 23, 1974 and enjoyed 47 years of marriage. Two sons were born into this union.

Throughout her life Rosanne enjoyed gardening, decorating, artwork and was an avid reader. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially during the holidays. Christmas was her time to shine. Her baking parties with the ladies of the family were legendary and she would send several Christmas cards to her closest friends and family every year. She had a love for her sons, grandchildren, friends and family that was unmatched and would do anything to make sure they were happy. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend anyone could wish for and will be unexplainably missed.

Rosanne is survived by her husband, Randy Dickson; sons, Clinton (DeAnna) Dickson and Ryan Dickson; grandchildren, Angelina, Gage, Hailey, Cameron, Bella, Gavin, Nicolaus; sister, Dianne Chance (Wright); several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Louise Wright; sisters, Roxanne Rodgers, Suzanne Connelly and Joanne Wright; nephew, Danny Wright.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Furry Friends Refuge.
