Obituary

Robert Thomas Young, 75, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, IA. Per Bob’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded and private unurnment will be at Union Cemetery, Iowa Falls, Iowa.

Bob was born December 8, 1947, in Hampton, Iowa, to Robert and Bernice Young. He was raised in Des Moines, graduated from Roosevelt High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Iowa. Bob served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He lived most of his life in Des Moines.

Robert is survived by his brother, Robert J. "Rob" Young of New York, NY and was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Delores Young.
