Obituary

Danielle Jean Remily, age 47, passed away tragically on Monday December 19, 2022. Danielle was born on December 18, 1975, in Des Moines, IA and was a graduate of Hoover High School. Beloved daughter of Danny and the late Melodie Remily. Devoted mother of the late Emma Parker, who was her everything. Dear sister of Christopher (Jessica) Remily of Highland Park, IL and Michelle Caisman of San Diego, CA. Fond aunt of Charlotte and Jackson Remily of Highland Park, IL.

Danielle was very social and active growing up and could always be found surrounded by her countless friends. She was competitive and excelled at both volleyball and softball in high school. During her senior year of high school Danielle was nominated to prom court. Danielle was a lover of animals, especially her dog Ellie, cats Mia and Jax, and numerous pet fish. Her hobbies included gardening in the backyard, where she described it as peaceful and relaxing. Danielle loved to be silly and playful. Whether goofing around with Emma or making funny faces and noises at her baby niece Charlotte - these were the times Danielle was happiest.

A Celebration of Life honoring Danielle and Emma will be held from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday June 2nd at Iles Funeral Home, 6337 Hickman Road Des Moines, IA 50322.
