Obituary

Anthony Tom Swen, 59, was born unto the union of Thomas Quiah Swen and Lucy Modou Daylue in Maryland County, Liberia. He was born February 1, 1964, and died October 18, 2023, at his home in Des Moines.

Anthony came to the United States in November of 2014 and settled in Des Moines, Iowa, where he worked as a citizen.

Anthony left behind his children, Victor T. Swen, Anthonette Swen, Anthony Swen, Ramsey F. Swen, Derrick N. Swen, Williams H. Swen, Decomtee Swen & Cecelia Swen; his brothers, sisters, and his grandchildren in West Africa, Liberia.

Visitation will be 10 AM - 11 AM Monday, November 20, 2023, at Iles Westover Chapel 6337 Hickman Road, Des Moines, Iowa. Service will start at 11 AM with burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines, Iowa
