Dennis Green, 69, of Green Valley, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in a traffic accident near his home.

Dennis was born September 17, 1954 in Denver, Colorado to Bob and Charlotte Green. He was the third of four children and graduated high school from Bountiful, Utah in 1973 having earned all-state accolades in basketball and subsequently playing at Idaho State University as well as Weber State University. Dennis graduated and followed his business degree with a Masters in Business Administration from Colorado State University in 1979. He went on to have a fulfilling career of over thirty years in human resources. He retired from his own consulting business of employer/employee relationships in 2018 while living in St. George, Utah. In August of 2023 he moved to Green Valley, Arizona.

Dennis married Joni Nicholas Green of Ogden, Utah in 1980. They were blessed with two boys, Ben and Brady Green. He later married Beth Williams Green of St. George, Utah in 2004. Dennis spent countless hours enjoying the great outdoors on his bicycle, hiking, swimming and other seasonal activities.

Condolences to Dennis’ mother, Charlotte Green who lives in Urbandale, Iowa; Ben and his wife Sam Green, their children Josephine and Nicholas of St. George; Brady and his wife Lynnette Green and Cameron their son, Seattle, WA. Surviving siblings are Robert Green of Ankeny, IA; Larry Green, Mesa AZ; and Charlyn Bagley of Ketchum, ID.

A memorial service will be held at Iles Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines, Iowa, at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 8, 2024.
