Obituary

Terry Dean Endres was born January 23, 1946 in Creston, Iowa, the son of Kenneth and Irene (Madison) Endres. He graduated from high school in Greenfield, Iowa and then served in the United States Air Force, where he was stationed in Colorado Springs and Alaska.

On May 18, 1967 he was united in marriage with Kathryn Lydon in Fontanelle, Iowa. They lived in Greenfield and then moved to Norwalk where they raised their family. Terry worked at Schildberg Trucking, Bob Brown Chevrolet, and Standard Bearing.

Terry enjoyed hunting and fishing, and participating in church softball. He liked car trips and always had to be the driver. He was known for funny antics, faces, and dancing.

Terry is lovingly remembered by his wife, Kathryn of Norwalk; daughter, Angela Johnson of Prole; sons, Matthew (Julie) Endres of Norwalk and Brandon Endres of Norwalk; grandchildren: Kiersten (Hannah) of Washington, Hannah of Waukee, Jacob (Eva) of Ankeny, Tyler of West Des Moines, Reagan of Norwalk, and Caden of Norwalk; and great-grandchild, Gage. He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter-in-law, Tera Endres.

A memorial gathering will be held at Iles Norwalk Chapel on Monday, June 17 from 6-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Veterans Families United.
