Obituary

Rose Marie Wagner, 76 passed away September 2, 2024, at Bishop Drumm Retirement Center in Johnston. She was born January 29, 1948, in Des Moines to Weslie A. and Mary Helen (Mischo) Wagner.

Rose Marie graduated high school from St. Joseph Academy in 1967. She worked Look Magazine as a key punch operator and Hallmark Greeting Cards in Merle Hay Mall. She loved going to Clear Lake with her sister Mary and spending the day at the beach, going to the movies, and eating out. Rose Marie enjoyed baby animals, butterflies and watching game shows and cartoons. Most of all spending time with her nieces and nephew, and all other family members.

Rose Marie is survived by her brother, Allen (Vickie) Wagner; sister, Donna Batterton; nieces, Jennifer Beeler, Michelle Czarnecki, Heather Barry; nephew, Jason Wagner; and many great nieces and nephews.

Rose Marie is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Mary Wagner.

Graveside service will be 1 PM Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Glendale Cemetery.
