Obituary

Ronald Lee Mullin “Bulldog”, age 69, passed away September 23, 2024.

He was born February 19, 1955 in Des Moines, Iowa to Donald and Ila Mullin. He was married to the love of his life Kim Mullin in 1977 and they had four children.

Ronald enjoyed being outdoors; he loved fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting. But most importantly, he loved being in the presence of his children and grandchildren. He was a man of all trades. He worked as a carpenter all his life. He loved to dance, sing, airbox, and be goofy with his grandkids.

He is survived by his mother Ila Mullin; two sisters Pam Seaman and Sandy Murphy; one brother Terry Mullin (Alicia); his four children: Ryan (Jess), Kandi (Bill), Trisha (Julian), and Melissa (Meechie); 17 grandchildren: Dylan, Tammy, Summer, Kodi, Devyon, Ryan, Payton, Azzy, Mercedes, Mackenzie, Mason, Alex, Aracely, Adrian, Deigo, Luis, and Juan; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Donald Mullin; his wife Kim; and his granddaughter Nevaeh.

A celebration of life will be held 3-8 p.m., October 11, 2024 at the Ding Darling Enclosed Shelter at 2100 Saylor Road, Des Moines, IA 50313.
